The Individual — Pottery Workshop
“The individual” is our open ceramics team for those who want to try their hand at clay and hand building — whether you are brand new or have already worked with ceramics before.
Here there is time to immerse yourself, try different techniques and create something with your hands at a calm pace. We do not work by turntable, but with hand construction and simple tools, and you get guidance along the way so you can work on your own ideas.
Pottery is a slow craft. When the workshop ends, the process continues with us: your blanks must be dried, burned the first time, glazed by hand and then burned again before they are ready for pickup.
Price
3 hours: 400 DKK per person
Clay, glazing and burning will be settled separately at 100 DKK per kilogram of clay.
The price includes guidance as well as coffee, tea and some snacks.
Your finished items are basically ready for pickup within 4—6 weeks. We'll let you know when they're done.
“The individual” is booked as a place on an open team, so you can easily come alone or with a friend.
If it is not possible to pick up your items, we can arrange shipping for a fee.

Welcome to the workshop!
We welcome you, find a place and you can have a cup of coffee/the/other.
Introduction to Hand Building
We explain a little about the clay, glaze and show simple techniques and help you get started with your own project. You don't need any experience beforehand.
Time to create
Then you work at your own pace with guidance along the way. For example, you can make cups, bowls, figurines or something completely different. Along the way, we write down how much clay you have used and write down the glazes you want your works to have.
When you go home, the process continues
Your workpieces dry with us, are burned, glazed by hand and burned again. We will contact you when they are ready for pickup.
